<p>This invention discloses a device for automatically watering plants. The device includes the water storage section, soil storage section and water absorbent materials. Drainage holes are set on the sidewall of and above the water level of the water storage section. The soil storage section is placed on the water storage section. There are air vents at the bottom of the soil section, and the absorbent materials are passed through the bottom of the soil section. The absorbent materials are ribbon--like or filamentous polyvinyl alcohol sponges, which are embedded into the soil section with one end, and contact with water in the water storage section with the other end.</p> |
