Abstract: The invention relates to an incontinence product, in particular an incontinence brief (1) for adults, comprising an absorbent body (2) and two fastening straps (3a, 3b) that, starting from the rear waist region (4), extend laterally away from the body (2) and have an outer layer (12) made of a water-jet reinforced fleece fabric. The body (2) comprises an inner side (5) having a fluid-permeable inner layer, an outer side (6) having a fluid-tight outer layer as well as an absorbent liner (7) that is provided between the inner layer and the outer layer. The fastening straps (3a, 3b) can be connected with each other to form a belt with at least one elastic region (8) that supports the incontinence guard, and hook patches (9') are provided in the front waist region (11) of the body. According to the invention the outer layer (12) of the fastening straps (3a, 3b) is made of a water-jet reinforced fleece fabric, and together with the hook patches (9') the outer layer (12) forms a hook-and-loop closure system.
