PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation type actuator for cam shaft adjustment capable of being controlled with a simple method by electronic control means.SOLUTION: In an oscillation type actuator 4 for cam shaft adjustment, only under a situation where a cam alternate torque value is sufficient and/or a situation where reduction of a flow rate from a hydraulic pump 12 is necessary, through software, the alternate torque of a cam shaft is used. In a case where the alternate torque of the cam shaft is insufficient due to driving of the cam alternate torque, the software changes the position of the spool of the hydraulic valve 3 and supplies hydraulic pressure fluid from the hydraulic pump 12 simultaneously with little alternate torque of the cam shaft, to thereby accelerate phase adjustment. |
