PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accumulate the state information indicating the state of a beacon device without applying load onto a portable terminal.SOLUTION: A beacon device 1 transmits a beacon signal and a portable terminal 2 that receives the beacon signal transmits the state information ib included in the beacon signal and the identification information ia of the beacon device 1 to a server 40. The server 40 that receives the identification information ia of the beacon device 1 transmits the information ic corresponding to the received identification information ib to the portable terminal 2. Then, the portable terminal 2 processes the information ic received from the server 40. Also, the server 40 manages the state information received from the portable terminal 2.
