A curved display device includes a display substrate curved in a first direction and including a plurality of pixel areas, and each of the plurality of pixel areas including a first sub-pixel area and a second sub-pixel area, an opposite substrate facing the display substrate, the opposite substrate coupled to the display substrate and curved in the first direction together with the display substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the display substrate and the opposite substrate, where first domains are defined in the first sub-pixel area along a second direction crossing the first direction, second domains are defined in the second sub-pixel area along the second direction, and a width in the second direction of each of the first domains is equal to a width in the second direction of each of the second domains.

1. A curved display device comprising:
a display substrate curved in a first direction and including a plurality of pixel areas, and each of the plurality of pixel areas comprising a first sub-pixel area and a second sub-pixel area; an opposite substrate facing the display substrate, the opposite substrate coupled to the display substrate and curved in the first direction together with the display substrate; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the display substrate and the opposite substrate, wherein first domains are defined in the first sub-pixel area along a second direction crossing the first direction, second domains are defined in the second sub-pixel area along the second direction, and a width in the second direction of each of the first domains is equal to a width in the second direction of each of the second domains.
