The present invention relates to a patent analysis system and method, and a recording medium for recording a program for executing the same, and the patent analysis system comprises: a collection unit for collecting citation information from a patent database in which a plurality of pieces of patent-related information are stored; a conversion unit which analyzes system identifiers of the citation information collected in the collection unit so as to generate citation data; a storage unit for storing the citation data in a first area of the patent database; an extraction unit for extracting a first patent group from the citation data according to a first search condition which is inputted through a user interface connected to the patent database; a filter for outputting patent analysis data produced by filtering citation data which is not in a citation relationship among the first patent group extracted in the extraction unit; and an output control unit for producing an output form of the patent analysis data according to a form and a configuration of a graphic user interface.
