Provided is a disposable underpants-type diaper that can prevent a bodily fluid absorbent structure from being visible from outside of an outer cover. This disposable underpants-type diaper has an underpants-type outer cover (15), and a bodily fluid absorbent structure (20) is attached to the inner surface (18) of the outer cover (15). The outer cover (15) has an inner layer portion (31) formed from an elastic member and an outer layer portion (32) formed from a non-elastic sheet, and the elastic contraction of the inner layer portion (31) causes the formation of a plurality of gathers (40) in the outer layer portion (32). In the bodily fluid absorbent structure (20), at least a portion of the center (20a) in the lateral direction (B), and both side sections (20b) in the lateral direction (B) are linked in the lateral direction (B) in a state not bonded to the outer cover (15). |
