FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the method for detecting wear out and/or contact points at machines with rotating shafts. Rotating parts form an electric coaxial system in relation to the stationary parts of such machine, and electric voltage pulses in this system propagate with characteristic velocity due to small distance between the rotating and stationary parts. Electric voltage pulses and/or continuously alternating voltage signals are applied between the rotating part and stationary part, and electrical connection is produced between the rotating and stationary parts in the wear out and/or contact point. For the purpose of determining the location of this wear out and/or contact point as the point of electric circuit break, period of time up to the arrival of reflected pulses along the distribution path of the electric voltage pulses and/or continuously alternating voltage signals is measured.EFFECT: improved accuracy of detecting the contact point between a rotor and a casing in the course of operation.17 cl, 7 dwg |
