FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for radioactive waste liquid (RWL) treatment. A method comprising dosing of hydrogen peroxide into the distillation residue of RWL, exposure of the said residue to a xenon lamp UV radiation, microfiltration to separate radioactive cobalt, iron and manganese, and adsorption of the radioactive caesium. Prior to the above the RWL distillation residue was filtered through a filtering mesh and ozonised in a contact chamber; the duration of UV pulses was 10?500 ms, wherein continuous UV radiation within the range of 190?300 nm with the intensity of at least 1·10W/mwas used.EFFECT: increase of RWL treatment process efficiency and performance in terms of radionuclides and activated corrosion products removal.9 cl, 1 dwg, 4 tbl |
