Methods and apparatus for resetting of an apparatus to a factory new state are disclosed. For example, some aspects of the disclosure are directed to monitoring the position of a user interface element (124, 124A1, 124A2, 124B) of a lighting apparatus (120) and resetting the lighting apparatus to a factory new state based on the monitored position. Also, for example, some aspects of the disclosure are directed to monitoring a power signal associated with the lighting apparatus, and resetting the lighting apparatus to a factory new state based on the monitored power signal. |
