Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and controller for notifying the bandwidth of a cluster system. The method comprises: the controller obtaining at least two transmission paths between a first edge node and a second edge node; the controller obtaining the maximum bandwidth provided by the cluster system according to the bandwidths of the at least two transmission paths, wherein the bandwidth of each transmission path is equal to the minimum bandwidth of bandwidths of all transmission links in the transmission path, and the maximum bandwidth is smaller than the sum of the bandwidths of at least two transmission links connected to the first edge node; and the controller notifying the maximum bandwidth to nodes outside the cluster system through the first edge node and/or the second edge node. By means of the technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present invention, accuracy of the maximum bandwidth notified by the cluster system to the nodes outside the cluster system can be improved. |
