Provided is a blower in which, when viewed from the rotation axis direction of a blower fan (40), the distance in the radial direction between the outside end of the blower fan (40) in the radial direction of the blower fan (40) and an outer peripheral edge (300) of a shroud (30) is taken as a radial direction distance, and the radial direction distance is varied in the circumferential direction of the blower fan (40). In the shroud (30), through-holes (35, 36), which have a slitted shape in which the circumferential direction length is longer than the rotation axis direction length, are provided to an area at which the radial direction distance is shorter than that at other areas. Within the shroud (30), the through-holes (35, 36) are positioned further upstream and/or downstream in the air flow direction than an upstream edge (420), which is upstream in the air flow direction, of a blade (42). |
