Provided are various methods and systems for reducing difference between cylinders of exhaust gas recirculation. In an embodiment, the systems comprise a first cylinder group (303) of an engine (302) having cylinders of a first number; a second cylinder group (304) of an engine having cylinders of a second number which is not integer multiple of the cylinders of the first number; and an exhaust system which is combined with the first cylinder group (303) and the second cylinder group (304). In at least one operation mode, the exhaust system has an exhaust port of the first cylinder group movably combined with an intake part (321) of the engine and an exhaust port of the second cylinder group movably separated from the intake part (321).
