PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call attention to preventing of fast eating when taking a meal using chopsticks, and contribute to establishment of a healthy eating habit.SOLUTION: An electronic chopstick rest 1 includes: a chopstick rest body 11 in which a chopstick rest part 3 where chopsticks 2 are placed is formed; a piezoelectric device 15 for detecting that the chopsticks 2 are placed in the chopstick rest part 3; and a CPU 21 for measuring the length of a chopstick resting time of the chopsticks 2 detected by the piezoelectric device 15 and displaying/outputting chopstick resting information concerning the measured length of the chopstick resting time on a display screen 12a of a display 12, for example. |
