PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mount display in which character information is displayed in synchronism with an image, without interfering with the viewing of a user.SOLUTION: A head mount display having a transmission type display section has a receiving section for receiving character information from a display device, a camera section for acquiring the mapping that is viewed by a user through the display section, a display area detector for detecting the position of the display device, viewed by the user through the display section, as a first area based on the image data thus acquired, a character area determining section for determining a second area, that is the position of the display for displaying the received character information, depending on the first area thus detected, and a display control section for displaying the character information in the second area thus determined, for the display section. |
