A lift adjuster (1, 1') is presented and described for adjusting seating and/or lounging furniture, comprising a housing (2, 2') and an adjustment shaft (3), wherein the adjustment shaft (3) is retained in the housing (2, 2') partially extendable out of the housing. In order to enable a comfortable adjustment, it is proposed that at least one clamping element (10) is displaceably provided opposite the adjustment shaft (3) between a clamping position and at least one adjustment position, the at least one clamping element (10) is clampingly received in the clamping position in a clamping slot (9) between the adjustment shaft (3) and the housing (2) in such a way that a sliding in of the adjustment shaft (3) into the housing (2) is prevented. |
