PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suppressing failure in lamination of single cells.SOLUTION: A method for laminating single cells constituting a fuel cell is provided which comprises: preparing a plurality of nearly rectangular shaped single cells which has reference parts having a vertically and horizontally asymmetrical plane shape; preparing a lamination implement which includes lamination-direction guide members suitably matching portions contributing to the vertical and horizontal asymmetry of the single cell; and sequentially laminating the plurality of single cells to the lamination implement while making the reference parts of the single cell match the lamination-direction guide members of the lamination implement.
