PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless device capable of suppressing wasteful consumption of wireless communication resources.SOLUTION: A wireless node 1 performs background scan in its radio wave range, and detects a free channel ChX. When shifting a wireless node 2 to start-up state, the wireless node 1 generates and transmits a wake-up signal WuS containing a wake-up ID for activating the wireless node 2, and a channel ChX used by the wireless node 2 after start-up. The wireless node 2 receives the wake-up signal WuS. When the wake-up ID contained in the wake-up signal WuS matches a wake-up ID thus held, the wireless node 2 is activated by the channel ChX included in the wake-up signal WuS.
