PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror brake mechanism of a small-sized single-lens reflex camera which does not require space in a posterior position of a mirror box.SOLUTION: A mirror brake mechanism of a single-lens reflex camera includes: a brake shaft which is positioned on an extending line of a mirror rotational shaft and is independent of the mirror rotational shaft; an interlocking rotating member which is positioned on a side part of a mirror and can rotate the brake shaft as a rocking shaft; a mirror drive shaft which connects a mirror seat on which the mirror is mounted and fixed, and the interlocking rotating member to each other in a rotating direction; a brake drum which rotates in association with the interlocking rotating member; and a mirror brake member which is brought into contact with and is disengaged from the brake drum. |
