PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus in which an image, formed by synthesizing a plurality of images captured by an imaging device having an omnidirectional imaging range, can be processed into a more natural image, and to provide an image processing method, and a program.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a travel determination unit 114 having a plurality of optical parts where the imaging ranges overlap at least partially, and determining a travel for moving a moved object, out of the objects included in a captured image, so that a plurality of captured images corresponding to the plurality of optical parts captured by an imaging device having an omnidirectional imaging range, respectively, are the images captured from a reference position in the imaging device. The travel is determined based on the distance from the imaging device to the object, and the angle from a reference line at the reference position to the object. |
