PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a capacitor deterioration diagnosis device capable of highly accurately detecting an abnormality of the deterioration state of a capacitor; an inverter device; and a household electrical appliance.SOLUTION: A capacitor deterioration diagnosis device 100 for detecting an abnormality of the deterioration state of an electrolytic capacitor 200 includes: a voltage detection means 10 for detecting the voltage between an electrolyte of the electrolytic capacitor 200 and a cathode terminal 23; and a deterioration determination means 11 for determining an abnormality of the deterioration state of the electrolytic capacitor 200, on the basis of a voltage value detected by the voltage detection means 10.
