<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load when a function correcting an ink amount in accordance with blurring characteristics of a printing sheet P and reducing banding is mounted.SOLUTION: An image processing module 8 of a printer 1 performs: ink color decomposition processing converting colors of pixels of image data 10 into ink amount data 11; BRS correction processing correcting the ink amount data 11 on the basis of a BRS correction table 72 and determining a correction ink amount data 12; selection processing selecting one of a plurality of SML tables 74 on the basis of blurring characteristics of a printing sheet P; and dot decomposition processing converting the correction ink amount data 12 into dot generation amount data 13 of ink dots on the basis of the SML table 74 selected. On this account, the dot generation amount data 13 of the ink dots are determined such that a dot generation amount with respect to a sheet P2 having a large blurring amount is less than that with respect to a sheet P1 having a small blurring amount.</p> |
