A filing tool is provided in which the filing rings can be smoothly opened/closed. This filing tool (10) is equipped with a plurality of freely openable/closable filing rings (12, 14), a holding member (16), an actuator member (18), and an opening/closing member (40), the actuator member (18) comprising a pair of actuator pieces (30, 32). One base of each of filing levers (12a, 14a) has been affixed to one actuator piece (30), and the other base of each of the filing levers (12b, 14b) has been affixed to the other actuator piece (32). The filing tool (10) has a button member (80) for moving the actuator member (18), in the vicinity of one end and/or the other end of the actuator member (18). The button member (80) has a first arm part (800) and second arm part (820) for moving said one actuator piece (30) and said other actuator piece (32) in opposite directions so that the filing rings are opened by actuating the actuator member (18) in the direction in which the filing rings (12, 14) stand in a row. The filing tool has been configured so that the first arm part (800) moves said one actuator piece (30) to the first arm part (800) side and the second arm part (820) moves said other actuator piece (32) to the reverse side from the second arm part (820). |
