PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device in which when a full steering state continues, a driving load of an electric motor can be reduced and furthermore an intermittent pressure fluctuation can be suppressed.SOLUTION: An ECU 24 includes: a full steering determination processing unit 49 for determining whether a piston 14 of a power cylinder 12 is in a full steering state in which the piston 14 has reached the stroke end or positions near the stroke end; and a dither signal generation unit 50 for generating dither signals to dither control the control torque of an electric motor 23 so that an oil pump 22 can be periodically operated back in the reverse rotation direction by liquid pressure from one pressure chamber on the high pressure side, of a pair of liquid pressure chambers 15 and 16a, when the full steering state is determined by the full steering determination processing unit 49. |
