In a storage system in which a managing computer and a storage device are connected, the storage device is connected to an external storage device and provided with a first processor, a storage medium as a basis of a plurality of logic storage devices, and a plurality of ports. The managing computer is provided with: a memory for storing port information, host-storage device path information indicating association between a host computer, the plurality of logic storage devices, and the plurality of ports, and inter-storage device path information indicating association between the external storage device, the plurality of logic storage devices, and the plurality of ports, and a second processor. The second processor, when a path between the host computer and the storage device or a path between the storage device and the external storage device is newly set, performs a bandwidth accommodating process with respect to any of the host-storage device path and the inter-storage device path on the basis of the port information, the host-storage device path information, and the inter-storage device path information. |
