A grating, a display device, and a grating manufacturing method. The grating comprises a first substrate (1) and a second substrate (2) that are oppositely arranged. The first substrate (1) is provided at the surface thereof facing the second substrate (2) with a plate electrode (3). The second substrate (2) is provided at the surface thereof facing the first substrate (1) with multiple strip-shaped electrodes (4) separated by gaps. Barrier walls (5) are provided correspondingly to the strip-shaped electrodes (4). The barrier walls (5) are sandwiched between the first substrate (1) and the second substrate (2). The barrier walls (5) comprise electrically-conductive protrusions (51) and hydrophilic-hydrophobic conversion material layers (52) covering the electrically-conductive protrusions (51). The electrically-conductive protrusions (51) are electrically connected to the strip-shaped electrodes (4). Liquid layers are filled between every two adjacent barrier walls (5). The liquid layers comprise a polar liquid (6) and a nonpolar liquid (7). Employment of the technical solution allows for increased viewable angle of the grating and reduced costs.
