<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove the soot and dust stuck to the surface of a plate-like catalyst with simple work. <P>SOLUTION: A catalytic structure 11 is constituted so that a plurality plates of plate-like catalysts 13 are arrayed while forming a gas flow path between the adjacent plate-like catalysts 13, and the plate-like catalysts are housed in a cylindrical frame body 19.
