The coating installation (2) has treatment cabin (6) in which car chassis (4) is subjected to coating material. An air system (12,14) produces cabin air stream to pass through treatment cabin which receives and discharges resultant overspray particles and coating material. A flow unit (16) influences the airfoil of the cabin air stream.
