<p>An intermittent light system (500) comprises a plurality of sets of lights (1, 2, 3, ... N), wherein each set of lights comprises an electronic control unit (UC) connected to a plurality of light sources (L1, L2, L3, ... LM), each control unit (UC) comprising: a zero crossing detector (10) adapted to detect all zero crossings of mains voltage (Vac), and a processor (20) adapted to count said zero crossings of voltage (Vac) and accordingly control the switching-on and switching-off of said light sources (L1, ... LM). The intermittent light system (500) further comprises a programmable interface (50) connected to the electrical network (R), upstream at least one set of lights, to interrupt voltage, in such manner to generate micro-interruptions of a few microseconds that are sent to the control units (UC) in discordance with the mains frequency, in such manner to vary the switching-on and switching-off sequence of said light sources.</p> |
