The present invention refers to the use of antibiotic synthetic peptides based on primary sequences of natural peptides as antibiotic agents. These peptide molecules may be chemically or genetically synthesized by the recombinant DNA technique. The peptides of the present invention known as Pin [G], Pin [GPG], Pin [14] and Pin[17] (SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, SEQ ID NO: 3, and SEQ ID NO: 4). The invention comprises its use as antibiotics for controlling bacterial infections including multidrug resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis and further pathogen bacteria, selected for representing the groups of different pathogens Gram- and Gram+, some of them known by their high virulence or by their high resistance to classic antibiotics.
|
