Granular material 18 is applied onto a resin coat 16 when the resin coat 16 is wet. The coated resin 16 is then left to dry before applying a sealing coat 20 onto the grains 18. The resin coat 16 is preferably applied to a similar resin coat 14 when the resin coat 14 is still wet. The resin coats 14, 16 are preferably aqueous, epoxy resin pre-polymers. The granules are preferably sand or other aggregate having grit size of 0.1-3mm. The sealing coat is preferably a polyurethane pre-polymer solution. The total thickness of the coating layers is preferably 1.0-3.0mm. |
