COMMUNICATION DEVICE USED IN WIRELESS NETWORK

A communication device includes a first wireless transceiver, a second wireless transceiver, a channel selector and a channel administrator. The channel administrator is configured, from a packet received with the first wireless transceiver, to extract and store a channel used for any other communication device communicating with an apparatus corresponding thereto. The channel selector is configured: to set a priority order of channel selection based on a condition obtained by considering interchannel interference; and to select a channel in the priority order, thereby selecting a channel to be used for the second wireless transceiver. It is therefore possible to select a channel to be changed for a comparatively short time when interference occurs, and to suppress an increase in types of channels to be used in addition to avoiding the interference.
