Provided are a user terminal device and a display method thereof. The user terminal device comprises a display part separated into a first area and a second area wider than the first area based on a folding line; a cover arranged on the back surface of the display part; a detection part detecting user interaction on the display part and the cover; and a control part when the display part is folded in a shape that the first area and the second area face each other based on the folding line, controlling so that user interaction is detected only on the exposed area exposed outside in a folding state among the second area and on the cover, and when folded in a shape that the cover faces each other based on the folding line, controlling the user interaction detected only on the display part.
