PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual card system capable of appropriately processing a slave card issuance application for a master card and accurately managing an available sum of each of the master card and the slave card.SOLUTION: Provided is a virtual card system for generating, for a customer who holds a master card that is a credit card and who is a net member, issuance data on a slave card that is a virtual card relating to the master card, the slave card having a set available amount being within a current use limit of the master card. Since a security code is important information, a backbone server authorization server calculates a setting/change of a limited amount of the slave card from a card number whenever the slave card is used (as the credit card) and collates the calculation result with the security code transmitted from the customer side without storing (saving) the security code after the customer is notified of the security code generated when issuing the slave card that is the virtual card. |
