<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator provided with an ice making machine which makes transparent ice and reliably separates the ice. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator has the ice making machine 20 having a flexible ice making tray 21 which has a plurality of ice making pockets 22 to which water is supplied from openings open on an upper face, and which is provided to be rotatable, a cover 25 which has a bottom face portion 25a that covers a lower portion of the ice making tray 21 and a lateral face portion 25b that extends upward from the bottom face portion 25a and covers a lateral portion of the ice making tray 21 and which is attached to the ice making tray 21, an ice making heater 24 which is put between the bottom face of the ice making tray 21 and the bottom face portion 25a, and a shielding rib 23 which extends downward from an upper portion of the ice making tray 21 and faces a lateral face of the ice making pockets 22, ice is made by freezing water from an upper portion while water supplied to the ice making pockets 22 being heated by the ice making heater 24, the ice making tray 21 is rotated while being twisted to separate ice, the lateral face portion 25b is formed so as to extend from the bottom face portion 25a to an upper portion of the ice making pockets 22, and a lower end of the shielding rib 23 is arranged at the same height or above an upper end of the lateral face portion 25b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
