<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a micromotion of a magnetic head slider by a pair of piezo elements, and prevent or reduce deterioration of vibration characteristic during the micromotion.SOLUTION: A flexure substrate includes a pair of connection beams which connects a longitudinal beam extending from a load beam fixing region toward a tip end side, and a magnetic head mounting region. The pair of connection beams includes a pair of left and right lateral direction extending sections extending from a tip end of the longitudinal beam, a pair of left and right longitudinal direction extending sections extending from outer ends of the pair of lateral direction extending sections, and a pair of left and right tip end side lateral direction extending sections extending from tip ends of the pair of longitudinal direction extending sections and connected to the head mounting sections. Tip ends of a pair of piezo elements are overlapped and fixed to a lower surface of a load beam body exposed via a surrounded region which is surrounded by the longitudinal beam, the pair of connection beams, and the head mounting region, and the basal ends of the pair of piezo elements are fixed to the pair of lateral direction extending sections.</p> |
