<p>A combination of a bucket insert 1 and a bucket 2, the bucket 2 including at least one side wall 23 and a base wall 22, the at least one side wall 23 and the base wall 22 defining an internal volume 21 of the bucket having an operable part for receiving cleaning liquid. The bucket insert 1 comprising at least one insert side wall 13 and an insert base wall 14 coupled to the at least one insert side wall 13. The bucket insert 1 defining an insert volume for receiving cleaning liquid, wherein the at least one insert side wall 13 conforms with the at least one side wall 23 of the bucket 2 around a substantial part of the at least one side wall 23 of the bucket 2, and the insert volume is less than the internal volume 21 of the bucket 2 such that the bucket insert 1 is configured to be received by the internal volume 21 of the bucket 2 to provide a reduced operable part of the internal volume 21 of the bucket 2.
