<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of steel material, which prevents a bolt at a joint part or a pin joint part from being damaged even when an external force such as a load or a horizontal force is applied to a column material or a beam material. <P>SOLUTION: A connection structure includes a beam material 51 of a first steel material and a column material 52 of a second steel material which are connected using a bolt 55 and a nut 56. The beam material 51 of a channel steel having an approximately U-shaped cross section or a C-shaped steel includes two parallel flanges 51a and a web 51b. The beam material 51 has a connection end to which an end plate 53 having a connection end face orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the beam material 51 is firmly fixed by welding. The connection end face is provided with a connection hole 54 for insertion of the bolt 55. The connection end face of the end plate 53 includes an elastic deformable part 53d relative to the weld zone.
