The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing sweet potato sausage, using a sweet potato and pork, and sweet potato sausage manufactured by the method. According to the method of the present invention, fiber, dietary fiber, and various nutritional components not included in meat are provided by adding sweet potatoes, and disease-related problems, such as obesity or the like, due to an increase in cholesterol due to consuming high fat only, can be improved. In addition, the sweet potato sausage can be used as a convenient food like conventional sausage made of only pork, by minimizing a decrease of preference in texture and taste of the sausage by adding ingredients rich in dietary fiber, such as sweet potatoes or the like, with an optimal amount of sweet potatoes added, compared to a pork meat and pork fat mixture, and child obesity of children or teenagers can be prevented especially when being used in school lunch or the like. |
