Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for reconstructing a three dimensional face based on a stereo camera. The method for reconstructing a three dimensional face based on a stereo camera according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps of: acquiring n (Here, n is a natural number) number of images as to a subject to be photographed by controlling a plurality of the stereo cameras according to an image obtaining request; extracting n number of face regions from each of the n number of images; and recovering face images based on view by using the n number of face regions.
