<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP stereoscopic display capable of improving definition of a displayed image and enlarging a view area and a depth reproduction range. <P>SOLUTION: Using an integral photography (IP) system, an IP stereoscopic display 1 reproduces a stereoscopic image of a subject from each element image obtained by imaging the subject on the imaging side via a lens plate in which optical lenses are arranged in parallel. The IP stereoscopic display 1 is provided with a beam orientation type light emitting element 10 as an element pixel 5 composing an element image on a substrate 2, without providing a lens plate in which optical lenses corresponding to the imaging side for reproducing the stereoscopic image of the subject from each element image. Each pixel is set so that the direction of a beam emitted from the beam orientation type light emitting element 10 is the same as the direction regulated by an optical axis passing through the center of an optical lens for reproducing the stereoscopic image of the subject from each element image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
