<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image forming quality at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises an image carrier, an image forming unit for forming a reference image on the image carrier based on an image formation parameter, a measuring unit for measuring the physical quantity of the reference image and outputting an output value based on the physical quantity measured, a storage unit for storing in advance correspondence information showing correspondence between the physical quantity measured and the output value based on the physical value measured, a correction unit for correcting the image formation parameter so that the output value from the measuring unit is constant based on the correspondence information and a change unit for changing the correspondence information when the output value output by the measuring unit is continuously changed and the continuous total value of the change values of the output value exceeds a predetermined threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
