<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately collect viewing information while preventing unnecessary equipment from being installed even when channels are unevenly viewed. <P>SOLUTION: The communication apparatus includes: selection information receiving means for receiving information of a broadcast signal selected at a first apparatus as selection information; first measuring means for measuring first time when the selection information receiving means receives first selection information during non-measurement of the first time; second measuring means for measuring as a second time a time interval from the start of measurement when the previous selection information is received to the end of measurement when new selection information is received as second selection information, every time the selection information is received; and first transmitting means for transmitting, to a collection server after the lapse of the first time, selection information including the first selection information and the second selection information received from the first apparatus and excluding the previous selection information corresponding to the second selection information received in the second time shorter than a predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
