PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell device capable of continuing operation with high power generation efficiency while maintaining excellent power generation capacity by preventing the degradation in power generation performance during operation.SOLUTION: A control means provided in a solid oxide fuel cell device starts power generation operation after a start mode operation before power generation is executed, and detects the lapsed time tr from the power generation start time then. When the lapsed time tr is compared with a predetermined value t1, and tr is larger than t1, the control means assumes that a fuel battery cell is in an oxide excessive state, and in that case, during executing the start mode operation, refresh control is executed by supplying fuel gas to a fuel electrode layer so that the fuel battery cell has a prescribed reduction promoting condition. |
