<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel type hybrid vehicle travel control device capable of dissolving the sense of incongruity of a driver and increasing the effect of improving fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: The parallel type hybrid vehicle travel control device includes an energy management part 5 which sets a torque upper limit value as an engine target torque when an engine rotation speed is equal to or more than a regeneration lower limit value and less than a regeneration upper limit value, when the addition value of a driver request torque and a regeneratable torque maximum value exceeds a preferable thermal efficiency torque lower limit value, and when the addition value exceeds the torque upper limit value at the maximum engine thermal efficiency, which sets the addition value as the engine target torque when the addition value is equal to or less than the torque upper limit value at the maximum engine thermal efficiency, and which performs charging travel while charging a battery 4 by taking motor regenerative torque from engine generation torque at that time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
