<p>A tool holder for a hammer drill comprising: i) a tool holder housing; and ii) an actuator (532) for locking or unlocking the tool holder which is moveably mounted on the tool holder housing, and which can be moved through a range of operating positions; wherein in at least one first position, the actuator (532) locks a tool within the tool holder and in at least one second position, the actuator allows a tool either to be inserted into or released from the tool holder; wherein there is provided an actuator locking mechanism (350,554;352,554) which releasably locks the actuator in its second position.</p> |
