Provided are a user terminal device and a display method thereof. The user terminal device comprises a display part displaying a first screen on a display part divided into a first area and a second area wider than the first area based on a folding line; a detection part detecting a first folding interaction when the first screen is displayed, folding the display part so that the first area and the second area face each other based on the folding line, or second folding interaction folding the display part, so that a first cover corresponding to the first area and a second cover corresponding to the second area face each other; and a control part when the first folding interaction is detected by the detection part, controlling the display part for a second screen relating to the first screen to be displayed on an area exposed to the outside among the second area, and when second folding interaction is detected by the detection part, displaying a third screen relating to the first screen on the first area or the second area.
