A technique for defining and controlling a signal processing arrangement is provided. According to an example embodiment, the technique comprises an apparatus arranged to provide a graphical user interface (GUI) for controlling a signal processing arrangement for processing one or more input signals via one or more user-selectable and user-configurable signal processing modules. The GUI is configured to provide a user with selection means arranged to enable selecting one or more signal processing modules for inclusion in the signal processing arrangement, with definition means arranged to enable defining connections between the user-selected signal processing modules and between said one or more inputs of the signal processing arrangement and the user-selected signal processing modules and with configuration means arranged to enable configuring one or more dependency rules for the user-selected signal processing modules. The apparatus is further arranged to initiate carrying out the signal processing operations represented by one or more user-selected signal processing modules in accordance with a processing rule. |
