The method involves regenerating fraction of absorbing solution enriched in acid compounds (3) in a regeneration column (G) to obtain a regenerated absorbing solution (9) and a rich gaseous effluent with acid compounds (22). The regenerated solution is recycled and washed/cooled in a washing section (B3). Gas of acid compounds is obtained by contacting with liquid water flow (17) having determined temperature, so as to obtain washed gas (18) whose temperature is lower than temperature of the gas to be treated (2). A quantity of water in the effluent is evacuated with acid compounds (24).
