A backlight unit is provided. The backlight unit comprises a light source; a light guiding plate arranged on the side surface of the light source, and guiding light; a quantum dot bar arranged between the light source and the light guiding plate to be separated, and changing wavelength of the light; and a quantum dot bar storage part arranged on the lower surface of the quantum dot bar and the light guiding plate, wherein the quantum dot bar is mounted on the storage part, the light guiding plate is held on the quantum dot bar storage part, and the quantum dot bar storage part and the light guiding plate can be coupled with each other. |
